OwnerCaptain Dave Ryan is a Master Captain, 100GT and co-owner of Marquis Charters. Marquis Charters operates private, super luxury yacht charters with full crew and service. Captain, delivery and crew services are also available. With >25 years of experience in vessels up to 100ft, Dave is also husband, and proud father to two talented and beautiful life long yachties. When they saw the breakthrough styling of Marquis Yacht's renowned Italian designers, they were hooked and had to own this yacht. Marquis Yachts was the first to bring continental beauty to a USA-built yacht. After more than a year of upgrades and preparations, Ciamar departed the Bay for Alaska. She met a 10 boat flotilla and played mother-ship for the wonderful folks at the Waggoner Guide. After Skagway and Glacier Bay, she began a meandering return to San Francisco. The Ryan's found a welcoming home on Alameda and began to ramp Marquis Charters to share luxury yacht experiences with others.

As a "6pak" Captained charter, your cruise includes (at least) private use of the yacht, the Captain, at least one Steward and a deckhand, snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, and fees/costs such as fuel, dock/port fees. The sky's the limit on what you can add, but rest assured the basics are included. Gratuity is not included and is up to you to decide at the end of the trip depending on how you liked your service. On Marquis Charters, we've seen tips range from 10% to 40% of the charter fee and have averaged 16%. Pickup and drop off locations can be round trip or one way and can include: Alameda, Oakland, Redwood City, South San Francisco, San Francisco Waterfront, Tiburon, Emeryville, Berkeley, Richmond, San Rafael, Petaluma, Vallejo, Benicia, Napa, Pittsburg, Rio Vista, Sacrament, Stockton, Half Moon Bay, Santa Cruz, Monterey. Locations below the East Brothers Light Station and inside the Golden Gate Bridge require no repositioning costs. Locations beyond those points require passed through repositioning costs that vary based on the services you desire and will be included up front so there are no surprises / no hidden costs popping up after you sign your charter agreement.
