Guided Trips Signature Trip: Two Dudes - Two Boats Our signature trip regardless of the season is the Two Dudes - Two Boats Special. Get together a group of 4 anglers and you can have a private party on the river. Not only is the two-boater more fun for us Dudes, it's more fun for everyone. The friendly banter between the boats and camaraderie that comes from sharing a day on the river make this trip a favorite for everyone from casual couples to serious fishing bums. Contact us and ask about the special rate for this trip. Warning: Most of our Two Dudes - Two Boats trips have become annual events for the parties involved. Rates: $450 for 1-2 anglers, $850 for 3-4 anglers, and *We can accommodate larger groups. Each boat is full with two anglers and one guide. Some of the best fly fishing in Oregon takes place here in the southern Willamette Valley. The blue ribbon McKenzie River and a large portion of the mainstem Willamette River offer over 30 miles of designated catch-and-release trout water as well as endless steelhead haunts which are ideally suited to fly fishing. These large rivers are a challenge to access on foot. We offer you the unique opportunity to sight-fish to rising trout and swing flies for aggressive summer steelhead (often in the same day) from a fully equipped drift boat piloted by one of our experienced guides. Prolific insect hatches throughout the long season bring the native Redside Rainbows and Cutthroat trout to the surface in enthusiastic predatory abandon. We specialize in surface and near-surface angling for these hard-bodied trout. Your day on the river will be timed to coincide with the best hatch activity. Hard-fighting Summer Steelhead are in from June through November. We can plan your trip to target trout, steelhead, or both. Oregon Coast Fly Fishing Trips The Two Dudes have grown up fishing the rivers, streams, lakes, and estuaries of Oregon's Coast Range Mountains. Winter Steelhead, Sea-Run Cutthroat, Coho, and Chinook Salmon all call these waters home. We have learned over our years of fishing here that being in the right place at the right time is critical. We endeavor to work within your schedule to plan an outing with a high probability of success. One of our signature trips is the one-angler canoe trip for Sea - Run Cutthroat. Scott has developed an intimate and unique trip using a canoe to access the lower drainages and upper estuaries of some of Oregon's top Sea-Run Cutthroat fisheries. Limited to one angler, this trip is the ultimate way to experience this special fishery. Winter Steelhead are arguable Oregon's holy grail of fly fishing trophies. The weather can be rotten, the fish can be maddeningly scarce, and then in one moment, it all comes together and you're hooked to a mint-bright missile of your lifetime. Join the Two Dudes and test your mettle against Oregon's ultimate fly rod challenge. Deschutes River Guided Fly Fishing Trips The world-famous Deschutes River is Oregon's finest trout fishery as well as the best place in the lower 48 states to swing a dry-line for summer steelhead. With ridiculously prolific insect hatches and more productive trout water than you can poke a fly rod at, this river is truly a trout fisherman's dream come true. You can choose to sample the pleasures of the Deschutes on a one-day float or join us for our favorite way to experience the river: multi-day float trips, including gourmet meals and unrivaled service and comfort in streamside camps. Mobile camps feature two-person sleeping tents with comfortable beds and a large weatherport wall tent for meals and socializing after a day on the river. Full gear handling and transport is provided each day, leaving you free to relax and fish your way through the luminous canyon scenery. Camps are located each evening to provide access to great fishing water within easy walking distance. Whether it's the famous Salmonfly emergence in late May and early June, the clouds of Caddisflies in July, or the promise of a tight-line grab from a fresh October steelhead, every month of the season offers incredible fishing in one of Oregon's most spectacular venues. Ideally suited for larger groups, Deschutes Multi-Day Trips are the perfect getaway for parties of 4 or more anglers.

We specialize in trips that take you off the beaten path of venues and techniques. As patient instructors in all aspects of flyfishing, we look forward to sharing our knowledge with you.We have fished and guided all over the world. Alaska, B.C., New Zealand, Australia, Mongolia, the Caribbean, and beyond, the Dudes have been there. But there's a reason we have chosen to make our homes here in Western Oregon. Nowhere else in the United States do you have the variety of angling opportunities available here. Oregon truly offers a year-round fishing season. We are committed to providing an enjoyable experience on the river. We are not a "numbers-oriented" guide service. We recognize that there's more to a memorable day on the water than simply catching lots of fish. The Dudes strive to provide a comfortable, relaxed, and fulfilling day away from the noise and commotion of the daily world.
