Additional Terms & Information
Running and Other Expenses Fuel levels and engine time shall be noted on the Charter Inception Date and the Charterer agrees to accept the Boat as delivered and to pay all running expenses during the Charter Commitment Term including but not limited to dockage, fuel, oil, water, pump-outs, customs charges, radio telephone expenses, etc. Fuel consumption is based on the elapsed time shown on the engine hour meter. a) Charterer may refuel the Boat based on a rate of 1.4 gal/hr of engine run time and provide a receipt to document the fuel purchased or pay a rate of $10.00/hr to cover refueling costs. b) Charterer is responsible for pumping out the waste holding tank. If the waste holding tank is not empty when the Boat is returned, a pump out fee of $50.00 will apply. c) Charterer is responsible for washing down the exterior and for removing the trash and cleaning the interior otherwise a fee of $50.00 will apply for each; washing down the exterior and/or cleaning the interior. d) In the event that a toilet (marine head) is found fully or partially plugged a maintenance fee$50.00 of will apply. e) Linens (bed-sheets, 2 pillows, a blanket and 2 bath towels) are available for a fee of $50.00 per bed (maximum of 3 beds) for the duration of the charter. Cancellation Policy Unless due to inclement weather that results in a USCG small craft advisory for the intended charter area on the Charter Inception Date, in the event Charterer defaults, terminates, cancels or modifies this agreement prior to the end of the Charter Commitment Term the Owner will suffer actual damages as a result. Therefore, an early termination fee will apply unless such cancellation occurs due to inclement weather that results in a USCG small craft advisory for the intended charter area. It is agreed by both parties that in the event this agreement is canceled by the Charterer less than 30 days prior to the Charter Inception Date, an early termination fee of 25% of the charter fees for the Charter Commitment Term will be forfeited. If canceled less than 15 days prior to the Charter Inception Date an early termination fee will be 50% of the charter fees for the remaining period of the Charter Commitment Term. If cancelled less than 5 days prior to the Charter Inception date or during the Charter Commitment Term, the full amount of the charter fees stated herein are due. The date the Owner receives written notification of cancellation will determine cancellation day. Refund Policy If Boat is not available for any of the contracted scheduled days for any reason other than due to repairs to the Boat as a result of damage caused by Charterer, the Charterer will receive a prorated refund for every day that vessel is not made available. If Charterer is required to make unexpected lodging/hotel accommodations related to the Boat not being ready for hire on scheduled departure date, Owner is not responsible for any and all incurred expenses caused directly or indirectly by vessel not made ready on any of contract scheduled days. Owner is responsible for deciding if vessel(s) are ready and seaworthy.
