GENERAL CONDITIONS PAYMENT To ensure your booking a deposit of 30% shall be paid. The remaining 70 % shall be paid no later than 30 days before the departure date. CANCELLATION POLICY In the event of requesting cancellation a penalty fee will be applied: - 15 % of the total amount if the cancellation is requested until 45 days prior to the departure date. - 30 % of the total amount if the cancellation is requested between 45 and 30 days prior to the departure date. - 100% of the total amount if the cancellation is requested from 30 days prior to the departure date. ITINERARIES AND DIVES The routes are subject to change due to weather forecasting. Please notice that we work at sea. Therefore, we will not be able to work out our final itinerary until we get to know the weather forecast before departing. We will always do everything in our hand for sailing and diving along the route which maximize your enjoyment during your vacation. Any modification or partial cancellation because of this cause will not give any right to a refund. However, you will be entitled to a refund if the trip is canceled the day of departure due to weather conditions or technical problems. When booking individual places (not applicable when hiring the full boat), the booking is conditional upon reaching a minimum number of guests, at the discretion of Sedna Sail & Dive and depending upon the feature of the itinerary. In case the minimum number of guests mentioned is not reached and therefore the cancellation of the reservation occurs, the payments will be fully reimbursed. Marine Reserves, Nature Reserves and National Parks placed on our route, require a permit to anchoring and diving. Some of them are in great demand, so we risk running out of space for some of the dives. If this happens, we will replace the spot for the dive or we will change the order of the dives if we can get the place. The customer would be entitled to a refund of the diving authorization price for the given Marine Reserve, Nature Reserve or National Park. The customer who decides to leave the boat for any reason before the end of the contracted trip, will not be entitled to any refund. If the customer does not carry out all contracted dives, through no fault of the company, shall not be entitled to any refund. Unless otherwise specified, the cost of filling the boat water tanks in a port other than our port in Burriana (Castellon) will never be included. Therefore, it is the customers on board who will have to afford the respective cost. There are double cabins on the vessel (double berth). Its allocation will be conducted in order of request and depending on availability. SCUBA DIVING According to the law of the Balearic Islands Government regarding to recreational diving, the following statements are mandatory: The divers must prove their qualifications. Except for DSD or introductory courses such as the Open Water Diver Course (OWDC).All divers (except DSD) must present a medical certificate in which an optimal physical condition for scuba diving is recognized. These certificates are valid for a period of two years.Furthermore, it is mandatory to have a diving insurance, which we can arrange. Night dives are only to be performed by divers with advanced or higher certification. For divers who are not advanced, we can organize a “Night Adventure Dive”, which is part of the course PADI Advanced Open Water Diver. PRIVATE BOAT CHARTER When chartering the boat privately, the maximum number of guests on board is considered to be of eight people. From eight guests, an extra price per person must be paid.   This Price depends upon the particular situation.
