Jeanneau SO 379 Sailing Charter in Scotland

Following the fantastic success of Sleat Odyssey, the Jeanneau SO439, we were delighted to be offering her smaller sister, Voyager of Sleat from 2013. Designed by Marc Lombard and winner of “Boat of the Year” for 2012, the 379 guarantees both fast and comfortable cruising. Despite her shoal draft, the revolutionary winged keel ensures a superb performance both up and down wind. Voyager is easy to sail short handed with all the sail controls lead back to the cockpit and the double ended main sheet is easily accessible from the helm. All of our yachts, regardless of size are equipped to the same high standard and you will find state of the art Electronics to please the navigator and central heating and stereo sound system for everybody else. There is even a 12v charging socket in every cabin to keep the now essential Mobile phone, iPad, iPod and Laptop going! Down below in the navigation area there is; Navtex and a VHF/DSC/AIS radio as well as all the charts and CCC pilot books and lots of other useful reading material about sailing in the area. On deck you will find the chart plotter which has an AIS feed so you know who else is in the vicinity and Raymarine instruments. Should the wind fail the Yanmar 29HP engine will take you smoothly to your destination. The accommodation is very comfortable and is based in 3 cabins plus the saloon where there are two single berths or the table can be converted to a double berth to sleep a maximum of 8 people, although we recommend 6 for comfort. As on all our yachts the galley is fully equipped to please even the most discerning Chef! The cockpit is also extremally spacious with plenty of seating area and a generous cockpit table complete with wine store for al fresco dining. We were very excited about the level of comfort and sailing performance of Voyager of Sleat and delighted to find that all her customers so far are just as impressed. Please note that all charters are a min of 7 days. High Season May 26 - Aug 10 (£2170) Mid Season April 28 - May 11, Aug 1- Aug 31 (£1920) Low Season April 7 - 27, Sep 1 - 30 (£1690) If you have any questions, we can answer those through GetMyBoat’s messaging platform before you pay.
